My name is Andrew, and I am the head of academics at North Sydney Academics. With over three years of tutoring experience, working with students from Year 1 through to Year 12, I’ve structured my teaching as personal and focused on the individual student. I’ve worked across both group and individual lesson settings, including tutoring institutions and private one-on-one sessions. I achieved an ATAR of 96.4 and received Band 6 results in English Advanced, Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension 1, Business Studies, and Music 1.
I’m passionate about teaching because I believe progress is what truly matters. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a student grow in confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve results they’re proud of.
Teaching Approach
My teaching approach centres on adapting to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I understand that every student learns differently, so I manage and shift my explanations, examples, and practice methods to suit how they process information best. I aim to create a supportive environment where they feel confident, capable, and motivated to succeed.
We pride ourselves on creating a supportive and safe environment of learning for children, with all tutors requiring a Working With Children Check (WWCC)
